The Time Has Come!

Weight Watchers, here I come! The time has come to lose a little junk in the trunk. Since the wedding last year I have slowly put on a couple (ok, maybe more than a couple) ounces (ok, pounds). About four years ago I did weight watchers and did great! I lost about 17lbs. While I haven't gained ALL of it back (less than 10), I have gained enough back to make me uncomfortable....again! Tomorrow at 10am starts the new lifestyle. I'm very excited and can't wait to get back on the journey. I've tried my own "diet" of counting calories, cutting out certain things. Nothing works better than the weight watchers program. And no, they are not paying me to exploit their great program. I'm a true fan!! If you are interested in some great recipes, go to http://dandtrecipes.blogspot.com/. All of the recipes are weight watchers friendly! Stay tuned for more updates!

Update: As of 5/23/09 - I've lost 5.4 lbs! Hooray. 5 down, 10 to go!

Our First Anniversary!

Happy First Anniversary, Sweetheart!
2-08-08

As of today, Andrew and I have officially made it to our first wedding anniversary! This year has been so much fun. Andrew is my best friend and I'm so proud to be his wife! He works so hard to make sure I'm happy and to do well in his Masters program (he got straight A's last semester if you were wondering :) ). I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him! Here are a few pictures of our wedding day:

My sweet husband brought these home for me on Friday.

Why Friday you ask if our anniversary is today? He wanted to truly surprise me. He thought I may be expecting something if he waited until Sunday. What a sweetie, huh? I was in the other room cleaning the floors and I hear the garage door open followed by "Baaaabbbbbyyyy, I got you some-ting (spelled incorrectly to match is pronunciation)! Then he whips these bad boys out. You may be wondering why this is such an exciting day in the Pringle house. Well we've known each other for 8 1/2 years and this is the 2nd, yes, you got it, 2nd time he's gotten flowers for me! We're going to go to dinner tonight and enjoy a night on the town. I love you, Andrew and can't wait for our years to come!

Happy Birthday Big Girl!

For all of you non-children, dog loving owners out there you know what they mean when they say your pets are like your children! So with that preface I had to do a special post for our little Madison who turned 3! Her birthday is January 14th. We actually forgot about it until the next week so needless to say there were no birthday hats, balloons or big parties :) We hope there are many more to come! I promise we won't forget your birthday next year little girl.... :) What a great dog mom I am, right?

The day we brought her home. Isn't she sweet?
(I was actually ready to take her back to the breeder after the first night. She cried every hour, on the hour!! I guess she's breaking us in nicely!)

At three years old with a brand new haircut. Her favorite things:

Chasing birds

Chasing cats

Sleeping under our bed

(starting around 8pm she sheepishly sneaks under the bed hoping her dad and I will just mistakenly forget to put her in her cage)

Playing with her daddy

Snuggling with her mama

Oh, and we can't for get little ball! Little ball goes everywhere!!

Christmas was great this year! We went to Phoenix and had Christmas with Andrew's family. We got spoiled as usual. Our trip was jammed full of visiting with family and friends!

Even though we were gone I still felt the need to decorate our house. It just isn't the same without a Christmas tree in your own house. My family was all split up this year. Mom went to Delaware with her family (mom, dad, sister, sis-in-law, nieces etc), dad stayed home with our puppy and Seth and Brandi stayed in Denver. Mom and dad celebrated Christmas at our house today. It's kind of fun getting to do Christmas twice! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
